AD Photographer Confirmed! - One Eye Click

Today, we confirmed the photographer for our actual day. Yap, the one that I'd been wanting since I chanced upon their blog.

Yi Ting from One Eye Click will be shooting us on 26 Nov 2011. Looking forward to seeing her again! That'll be our wedding day mah! Can't wait!

Here are some selection from her work...

Banquet Confirmed!

After two weeks of search, visits and comparison, we placed our deposit today.

It was a decision between two hotels. With the same budget, one for 10 tables with no choice of halal food, and the other for 12 tables with choice of halal food. One is a 5-star central located hotel, the other an almost 5-star too (for its name) located along a less traveled road and high possibility of guests going to the wrong hotel, we decided on the latter.

This is part of the function room (no ballroom since we're having a cosy wedding)...

And this is the living area in the PENTHOUSE SUITE we will be staying for the wedding night.

The bedroom in the suite...

And the extravagant toilet! Its huge!!!

I think I'm more excited of the stay in the Penthouse Suite than the wedding banquet! Can I just stay in the suite and not go down for the banquet? Wahahahahahaha!!!

Our wedding banquet will be at Pan Pacific Orchard. Yes! The one along Claymore Road and NOT Marina! We must emphasis this when we send our invite next year.

The other option was at Mandarin Oriental. Lovely place but the price per table is super lovely too! No halal food is the other reason why we didn't pick it.

Now I can strike the banquet off my list for now. Next up, the photographer and then the house! Wish us luck!

Wedding Show at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

Both of us love Crowne Plaza! The ceiling is nice, hotel looks nice and its almost ideal. But sadly, this is a banquet I'll never get. Cause venue already booked for dinner on our date.

This was also the very first wedding show both of us attended. Kinda excited and didn't know what to expect. Then when we arrived, it looks just like a mini exhibition/ showcase with hi-tea-like buffet. No its not free, but its alright. Less than $30 for two pax.

Here's a video view of the ballroom.

And here's the suite you get to stay when you book the banquet at Crowne Plaza Changi.

Not very big, but comfortable enough for make-up and hair to be done in the living room for bride, bride's mum, groom's mum and maybe one more lady.

Of course, the view from the pool is cool. Solemnization can be held here, at additional fee I think.

Don't like the heat from outside? There's the indoor meeting room that's usable too.
